Children will learn the "Think" part of the strategy: "What's the problem? What's the plan?"
Tell a story about the Twiddlebug sister and brother who want to play different things.
Ask, “How do you think the Twiddlebugs are feeling?”
Point to the “Think” part of the chart. Say, “Let’s think! What is the Twiddlebugs’ problem?”
Write or draw pictures of their responses.
Then ask, “What’s the plan? How can they fix the problem?” Write or draw pictures of their responses.
You can also offer suggestions such as “They could take turns.”
