Week 5: Day 3

Children will practice breathing to help calm down when they have a problem.


Explain and demonstrate deep breathing. Have kids practice along with you. Then do the “Breathe Dance”:

  1. Have children dance with all their energy as you play a song.
  2. When you stop the music, invite them to freeze and take three slow, deep breaths.
  3. Repeat until the song is finished.
