The Partnership for Children of Guilford County work to make sure every child in Guilford County enters school safe, healthy and ready to succeed. Using public dollars and private donations, they create new programs and collaborate with existing ones to measurably improve the lives of children while strengthening families. They also administer the largest NC Pre-K program in North Carolina, serving 2,337 four-year-olds during the 2017-2018 school year.
The mission the SSIC-Guilford Collaborative is to engage, embed, and integrate Sesame Street in Communities (SSIC) tools and resources into a collaborative systems approach to promote quality early childhood learning and development in Guilford County.
