The city covers an area of about 56 square miles between the Everglades to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east. Miami is also a major tourism hub for international visitors, ranking second in the country after New York City. Sesame Street in Communities (SSIC) has partnered with Thriving Mind South Florida to embed and integrate SSIC into its network of mental health and substance use healthcare providers throughout Miami-Dade County, including partners like the Miami Dade Police and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, one of the largest districts in the nation.
