The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce provides leadership to help businesses grow and Kansas City prosper- making KC the best place to live, work, start a business and grow a business. They are a membership organization that represents more than 2,250 companies and 300,000 employees across the Greater KC region. They serve 15 counties in the bi-state area: Missouri and Kansas. Through their Big 5 initiative, they are focused on building Kansas City’s workforce of tomorrow through kindergarten readiness.
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is sharing SSIC resources with partner organizations through the KC Chamber’s Civic and Community Initiatives efforts by:
- Sharing SSIC resources and tools through their Big 5 initiative and supporting other SSIC KC area community partners in direct programming.
- Integrating SSIC into Pre-KC community presentations to the business community highlights the importance of quality early childhood education.
