Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey Logo
The Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey Center for Family Services (HFC) has been serving South Jersey since 1976. HFC provides a wide range of advocacy programs and culturally relevant social services that support and encourage empowerment and self-sufficiency. HFC serves 15,000 clients annually and 1,200 school-aged children.
The Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey Center for Family Services will embed and integrate SSIC into the Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey Collaborative to improve the lives of children 0-5 by:
- Training staff and parents on how to use SSIC resources on Asthma, Family Bonding, and Trauma to support families with young children affected by immigration.
- Embeding SSIC into their Family Success Center, Pediatric Asthma Prevention program and Domestic Violence Advocacy and Counseling program.
- Leveraging the SSIC brand and partnership to raise awareness of its tools and resources through community events, newsletters, social media and promotional activities.
- Creating a Comfy Cozy Sesame Space in the Family Success Center for children and families.
