With a professional commitment to high quality services, their employees balance best practice and cutting-edge approaches with personalized care to improve the lives of everyone they serve. They work with neighborhood residents, schools, government leaders, corporate partners, and social service providers across the community.
The Center for Family Services will embed and integrate SSIC into their Head Start and social services programming to improve the lives of children from birth to age 5 by:
- Training Head Start teachers and local early learning partners on resources around resilience, trauma, and creating Comfy Cozy Spaces.
- Creating multiple topic specific toolkits that will include both SSIC resources as well as CFS resources available to the residents of Camden City.
- Launching the SSIC initiative during the “Week of the Young Child” and highlighting the partnership on social media.
- Developing meaningful performance measures in collaboration with SSIC to evaluate success of implementation.
